To understand what is special about Red Energy you need to look at our history. We are who we are because of where we have been – and while we now have a track record of success in addition to that heritage it does explain why we are so passionate about our business. It is a great story of the little Aussie battler.
We were a small start up company with offshore ownership but due to a corporate takeover we were suddenly no longer a priority to our parent company. But because we knew we had a little gem in the making, we felt sure we could find a new parent who could see the potential in us and take us on board.
And we did.
So now we have all the flexibility and adaptability of a start up with a big proud Aussie parent at the helm. We have solid runs on the board after more than three years of business and we are still “shaking things up” just like we said we would. In fact we now offer renewable energy at no extra cost because we want to look after the environment as well.
We know now more than ever the value of great people and so we take care to look after them by providing opportunities for advancement and stretching people beyond their comfort zone. That is not for everyone – which is fine. If everyone was doing it then we wouldn’t be “shaking things up”.
