When you start earning points

When you link your Red Energy and Qantas Frequent Flyer accounts you can start earning Qantas Points on your energy bills, when you pay on time.

What the ‘per $1 on your energy bills’ is

You will earn Qantas Points for each dollar on your bill when you pay on time. For example if your bill is $200 and you have signed up to the Qantas Red Saver plan, you will earn 2 Qantas Points per $1 on the $200, when you pay on time, that’s 400 Qantas Points.

Earn bonus Qantas Points for joining or moving home with Red

If you’re new to Red Energy or an existing customer moving home and taking Red Energy electricity and gas with you, you can start a new Qantas Red Saver plan and earn:

  • 10,000 bonus Qantas Points when you take up electricity^
  • 5,000 bonus Qantas Points when you take up gas^
  • 2 Qantas Points per $1 on every electricity and gas bill, when you pay on time^
