What is GreenPower?
GreenPower is a national accreditation program for renewable energy. It allows customers to match their electricity use with renewable electricity added to the grid by GreenPower accredited electricity generators such as hydro, wind and solar projects. To earn accreditation, these projects must meet environmental standards and be less than 15 years old.
We proudly hold the GreenPower Accreditation, ensuring that our products carry the Accredited Provider logo, signifying compliance with the standards of the National GreenPower Accreditation Program. This accreditation ensures the electricity use of customers that buy GreenPower is matched with renewable energy added to the grid.

How do I sign up for GreenPower energy?
Adding GreenPower to your electricity plan is simple:
- New customers can include GreenPower when signing up for an electricity plan. Simply select your plan, then when you complete the form select YES for 100% GreenPower.
- If you’re an existing customer and would like to add GreenPower to your current plan, please call 131 806. Alternatively, you can contact us here.
GreenPower is charged as an additional rate to your standard electricity usage charges. To view our GreenPower charges, click here. Please note that GreenPower energy costs more because of the renewable energy certificates (Large-scale Generation Certificates or LGCs) we purchase to match the electricity you use.
