Giving back more
We work with great brands, sporting clubs, associations and charitible foundations that share our values and try to give both them and us the opportunity to do more than simply ‘put a logo’ on an event. We seek to really demonstrate our commitment and give back more, going further than most normally would. We aren’t a ‘sponsor’, the brands we work with aren't ‘the sponsored’, we work together and build relationships with the people that mean so much to both of us.
St Lucy’s School
We’re proud to have donated a solar and battery storage system to St Lucy’s School in Wahroonga, a primary school for children with disabilities. The system will be used to heat the swimming pool and allow the students to enjoy their swimming lessons all year round.
Breast Cancer Network Australia
Red Energy commenced a partnership with Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) in 2015 to lend support to Australians affected by breast cancer.
The Heart Foundation
Since 2015 we’ve helped the Heart Foundation continue their lifesaving work by supporting their annual Lock in the Love campaign in Melbourne over Valentines weekend.
Our commitment to the Heart Foundation doesn’t end there. Together we provided complimentary heart health checks via a mobile clinic in the community of Ballarat for Heart Week in May. The aim of the project is to increase awareness of heart disease risk factors and heart health checks in prioritised regional locations.
Red Energy teamed up with the Newcastle Knights Rugby League Club in 2015 to further strengthen the club’s local community programs. Red also support the Grassroots Mini League games at all home matches and a number of junior development clinics throughout the year. We have recently added even more energy to game day by sponsoring the Newcastle Knights cheerleaders this season.
“The Newcastle Knights-Red Energy partnership is built on common values and a genuine passion for our local region. We are proud to be associated with Red and the wonderful energy and enthusiasm brought to our games and community programs through this relationship." – Wendy Carmichael, Chief Operating Officer
Red Energy has come on board in 2016 to support the Maitland Pickers Rugby League Club to strengthen the club and its local community programs.
Cooma Monaro Shire
Red Energy entered into a commercial partnership with Cooma Monaro Shire in 2015 with the mutual goal of nurturing the economic development of the region. Cooma is the home of Red’s parent company Snowy Hydro as well as being the gateway to the NSW ski fields.
This partnership brings a business building program along with some key activation activity throughout the year, such as the Back to Cooma Festival which celebrated the town’s rich heritage and multicultural diversity.
Cooma Community & Sporting Bus
Red Energy’s support of the Cooma Community & Sporting Bus ensures that local schools, sporting clubs and community groups are able to access a reliable and practically priced bus service to attend games and events across the greater south east region of New South Wales.
The Community Bus is a self-sustainable project with a 4 year history. Our support of the community bus has assisted in facilitating an upgrade to the bus which will ensure the service is enjoyed by the community for many years to come!
New South Wales ski fields
The NSW Ski Fields partnerships allows Red to maintain a strong brand presence at Perisher, Thredbo, Charlotte Pass and Selwyn Snow Resort. Throughout the ski season a number of activations are planned to and enjoyed by families and ski enthusiasts alike.
“As the resort celebrates 50 years, the support given by Red Energy will allow us to provide additional facilities and services for our guests that will continue to make Selwyn Snow Resort a great place to learn how to ski and board and fantastic for families to visit.” – Angela Banks, General Manager – Selwyn Snow Resort
