E-billing and E-comms is a convenient and easy way to receive and maintain copies of your energy bills and other communication. We will send your bills and other communication to your nominated email address. Your bills will look exactly the same as you would have received in your letterbox.

  1. I understand and agree that my energy bills (including both electricity and gas if both accounts are with Red Energy) and other communications for all properties linked to the account number provided will be sent via email. I can return to receiving my bills and other communications via post at any time by calling 131806. If Red Energy is unable to send my bills or other communications via email (for example because my email address is no longer valid), my delivery method will automatically be changed to post.
  2. I am agreeing to vary the contract I have with Red Energy regarding my bill arrangements.
  3. I understand and agree that Red Energy will issue my electricity bills for all properties linked to the customer number provided above on a monthly basis and will endeavour to do so on my selected day of the month. However, I understand that in some circumstances Red may not be able to issue my bill on my selected day and that where this is the case, Red Energy will issue my bill as close as practicable to my selected day.
  4. I understand that I am only eligible for monthly billing for electricity if my meter is functioning remotely (i.e. a smart meter). If my meter is not currently functioning remotely, my electricity billing cycle will remain quarterly, but I will receive my electricity bill via email.
  5. I understand that I will continue to receive my gas bills every two months, and that this will now occur via email.
  6. I agree that Red Energy may need to contact me to verify my details before updating my account to e-billing and monthly billing.
  7. I agree that Red Energy may contact me by any means to promote and market products to me and I understand that if I don’t want to receive marketing materials from Red, I can opt-out by sending an email to [email protected] with a subject line ‘Unsubscribe from marketing material’ with my full name and contact details.
