Frequently asked questions
Electricity bills can go up, and can come down. Fluctuations are completely normal; they’re affected by everything from the weather outside to the number of people inside.
By learning about what can affect your electricity bill, you’re in a better position to do something about it or, at least, be prepared to handle the fluctuation more efficiently.
To add someone to your account, fill in our Authority to Act Form. If you are having difficulty or have any questions, give our friendly staff a call on 131 806.
The amount debited from your bank account may be less than your bill total because:
- •○
You made a one-off payment after the bill was issued
- •○
A rebate was applied after the bill was issued. Any applied rebates will appear in the ‘Understand your bill’ section on page 2 of your next bill
