Mobile app support

You can download the Red Energy App from the Appstore for iPhone or Google Play for Android.

To register, download the Red Energy App and select “Register a new user” You don't need to register if you are already registered for MyAccount on the Red website – simply use the same login details.

To register you’ll need your

You will need to ensure the information provided matches the details on your account. You can find your customer number on your bill or welcome pack.

Registering is quick and easy. If you have all your details ready, it usually takes about 5 minutes.

The Red Energy App makes it easier for you to access your Red Account and track your bills and energy usage.

The Red Energy App gives you access to your energy right from your pocket. Manage your energy account with Red, keep track of your usage and avoid bill shock, view and pay bills, setup Direct Debit, plus more!

If you don’t have a smartphone, you can easily access your Red Energy Account via our MyAccount portal myaccount.redenergy.com.au/registration

You can unlock your profile by following the steps below

1. Click “Unlock my digital profile” below

2. Enter your login email address

3. Click “Send Link to Unlock”

4. Check your email and click the “Unlock Profile Link”

5. Once your profile is unlocked, you can try to log back into the app

If you’ve forgotten your login email address, please contact us for assistance.

If you log in with your Google, Microsoft or Apple account you’ll need to follow their password reset instructions before attempting to access the Red Energy app again.

If you log in with an email address and password, follow the steps below and we can send you a code to log in with instead.

Logging in with a code

1. Click “Forgot Password” on the Red Energy App login screen

2. Enter your login email address

3. Click Send Code

4. Enter the 6 digit code we sent to your login email address

5. Click Login

6. Once you’re logged in, go to Profile -> Login details -> Change password

If you log in with your Google, Microsoft or Apple account you’ll need to follow their password reset instructions before attempting to access the Red Energy app again.

You can easily change your password once logged into the app.

1. Visit “Your Profile” in the Red Energy App menu

2. Select “Login details”

3. Choose “Change password”
