GreenPower is government-accredited electricity sourced from renewable energy projects such as hydro, wind, solar, and waste. To earn accreditation, these projects must meet stringent environmental standards and have been constructed after 1997.
We proudly hold the National GreenPower Accreditation, ensuring that our GreenPower products carry the 'tick' logo, signifying compliance with the rigorous standards of the National GreenPower Accreditation Program. This accreditation guarantees that your contributions are directly supporting the installation of new renewable energy projects across Australia.

How do I sign up for GreenPower energy?
Adding GreenPower to your electricity plan is simple:
- New customers can include GreenPower when signing up for an electricity plan.
- Existing customers may need to add GreenPower to their current plan online or by getting in touch with our customer service team by calling 131 806. Alternatively, you can contact us here.
GreenPower is charged as an additional rate to your standard electricity usage charges. To view our GreenPower charges, click here. Please note that GreenPower energy costs more because of the Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) we purchase to offset the electricity you use.
