From 13th May 2025, Ausnet Services will operate via the EnergyConnect application portal. Any new connection, abolishment, solar, or alteration request must now be submitted directly through this portal.
Before submitting the application, your electrician must register for access by visiting: https://portal.ausnetservices.com.au/register.
Once registered, your electrician will need to submit the request via the portal and nominate Red Energy as your chosen retailer.
After Ausnet accepts the request, they will send an email with your application details and a unique reference number (e.g. ANSO-XXXXXXX), which we will then use to take action.
